Solvable Problems
- 13% of American workers 15+ make more than 100K per year.
- 34% of American households bring in more than 100K per year
- There are 165 million workers in the US

give.
- 129 billion goes to religious institutions which is about 27%.
- In short, we are currently giving 485 billion, we could be giving as much as 2,000 billion.
- Let’s start looking at solvable problems.
771 million people currently don’t have access to clean drinking water. Charity Water has installed 111,709
wells serving 15,477,279 people which is 138 people per well. That means, 5.6 million more wells are needed to
serve the remaining 771 million people.
Wells start at 10,000 and can go as high as 25,000. That means that the cost of providing those wells will be
between 56 billion and 140 billion dollars.
There are currently 553,000 homeless people in the US. There are 13 million abandoned houses in the US. The cost
to demolish a home is around 10,000. The cost to clear a property and build a small house is around 150,000.
The cost to build 553,000 homes would be around 83 billion.
Annual taxes are around 1000, water and sewer is around 500 per year. High speed internet is about 1000 per
year. Electricity is around 2000 per year. The total ongoing cost for services to the home are around 5000 per
year. 2.8 billion per year
Abandoned homes lower the perceived value of a community. There are currently 13 million abandoned homes in the US. The cost to remove a house is around 10,000.
The total cost to clear all the abandoned homes would be around 130 billion.
About 500,000 abortions are carried out every year. Most are sought by women who cannot afford to raise a baby.
We allow women to drop off their newborns at hospitals and fire stations, but they are not allowed to pick them back up after work.
To give every mother who was seeking an abortion $500 per month would cost 3 billion per year.
